In what looked to be an amazing Cinderella story, Rocco Mediate was poisted to become the oldest and lowest-ranked player to ever win a Major.
After Tiger birdied on the 18th on Sunday, the two men played a 18 hole playoff today, in which Tiger hit an 18th hoe birdie yet again to send it to sudden death.
On the first sudden death hole, Rocco hit a bad tee shot which ultimately led to him losing to Tiger.
It was truly a great weekend of golf for all those who watched.
What did you think of it? And were you rooting for Tiger or Rocco?

I didn't have a huge rooting interest and didn't watch a lot of it, but I think Tiger showed us why he is Tiger when he sunk that putt on Sunday to send it to a playoff.

Agreed on the Tiger point. It occurred to me that in 25 years, I'll be flipping the channel on a weekend and the US Open will come on and Tiger won't be playing in it. He may be the greatest golfer I ever get to watch.
While I was rooting for Mediate, I took Monday as a chance to just enjoy watching a legend.
