On September 21-23, I will be down in Annapolis MD (specifically, Watkins Regional Park), for the Navy Football Game vs. Duke. I'm going down with a Scout Troop, and getting a tour of the Academy before the game.
Naturally, since this is essentially a "camping trip," I will have no internet access that weekend. Even if I did, I'd be too busy with the game.
Have fun that weekend!

Well, I'm back. The United States Naval Academy beat Duke 46-43, in case you didn't see it. The tour didn't really happen before the game, but we did see the USNA after the game (earlier today), and went to a Church Service in the Chapel on Campus. It was unique, as the Commissioned officers were leading the service, and they brought in the colors before, followed by a bugle call to signal the service was beginning. It was specifically called "Church Call," and can be heard by clicking here.Another note, it is considered taboo to step on the USNA Seal right in front of Tecumseh. Tecumseh is painted by the Brigade of Midshipmen (students at the USNA) for each Football weekend, as is the tradition.
