I figured out what sells golf events. The course. All week, we've heard about what a tough course the US Open is being played at this year, so what do you know? I'm flipping around the channels and up pops the US Open. And guess what? I'm watching. Because I want to see these pros be humbled by this course Anyone else following it?

Garcia won.....ick. Is that even his name? Would've prefered to see an American win, maybe not Tiger, perhaps Furyk?.....Oh well, no one's a golf fan here anyway.

You mean Angel Cabrera?
I found the final round pretty entertaining. Aaron Baddeley absolutley fell about from the start of the day. Tiger lost this one as he wasn't making the putts and drives we're used to seeing from him.

Woods was doing nothing to win it. He wasn't going for pins. He wasn't trying for birdies. He figure that everyone else would be nervous and throw it away. It's ANGEL CABRERA!! Not Phil, not Vijhay, or Ernie, or Sergio, or stinking Arnold Palmer.
He's the best golfer ever and he didn't act like it.

What?
Did you see the course...? He played well but Cabrera made two shots close to the pin that nobody else did. He just played the best. If anybody threw it away it was Furyk. He should've known his position on 17. He didn't need to go for it.

I saw the course. I understand it was tough.
But Tiger's best oppurtunities to really do something positive came on 17 and 18. What was the thread between those two holes? Tiger went right at it....because he had to. Had he done that all day, I honestly think he would have won.
Again, Tiger didn't throw it away...he never had it.
And Furyk choked in my opinion. (Especially on 18)
