To be honest I think too much is being made out of this. Obviously Tiger used the word in an off the cuff sort of way, he didn't set out to offend anyone, but whenever you get to the level of fame he is at, people will cause a storm in a teacup if you're remarks are in any way offensive, or could be deemed to be offensive.
Thoughts?

That's such crap. He didn't mean anything by it and if you give me a quote, and I can find something that will offend somebody. You can't win in this world.

That is one of the things I hate about the press surrounding sports...any off the cuff comment can be made into something which people take offense to. A non celebrity says something like that, no one even thinks twice about it. When it's a sports person everyone complains. I've always said the press and nit picking organizations like are only happy when they're complaining about something.

The funny part is, even members of the press admit they do it only because it's a celbrity. Whatever makes news, right?
