This could be a great tennis event, even comparable to the grand slams, if they did it right.
Why do they have it a million times a year and all over the globe? I say they should alternate where they have it each year, and put it in one place.
If they did this, it would have more of an Olympic feel to it.
It has the potential to be a really fun and competitive tournament, but not if they do it all throughout the year.
Thoughts?

I agree that they should change the current format. Make it feel more like a cup competition, rather than the current format of having three separate leagues and playing each of them at different times of the year and in different countries. It would let players from lesser known countries test their skills against some of the world's best. It would also probably make countries take the competition more seriously - at the minute they rest players and players pull out of games at even the slightest injury. If they were representing their country at a bigger tournament there'd be a lot more to play for.
Plus, it would make the experience a lot more exciting for the fans. The problem the organizations would probably bring up is where to fit a big tournament in around the Slams, but I'm sure it could be done easily.

They could always make it a year starter. I know they have the tour championship at the end, so if they made the Davis Cup at the beginning, it'd make for a nice balance.
