Though I think both conferences have been extremely competitive this year, the top teams in the West are going to have some interesting battles come playoff time.
Who will be the favorite?
Detroit? San Jose? Chicago? Calgary? Vancouver?

I really, really, really hope the Sharks lose in the first round (Isles hold their #1 pick).
I like Detroit. You can never go wrong betting on them.
Not a fan of Vancouver. Team seems to ride on Luongo and the twins and isn't as complete of a team as the Red Wings are.
Calgary was a winner on the trading deadline day.. but the winner then rarely is the winner in June.

I kind of want Roenick to get a Cup, but I'm not a Joe Thornton fan (and I've been bitter at Rob Blake for years now)
I think they're the favorites, though. Detroit's goaltending has been terrible, especially Osgood.

Vancouver is on a roll right now, would like to see Sundin hoisting the cup in a Canucks uniform. That would really bug Leaf fans I bet.

Hard to say. Everybody has a chance. You can easily see each teams 'weakness'. Just a matter of fixing that weakness or taking advantage of another teams.
