I'm assuming several of us will be watching the playoffs without our favorite teams.
Lets jump on the bandwagon of someone else. Pick your team. Pick your player. Pick your coach.

It's looking gloomy for the eastern Canadian teams hoping to make the playoffs, the Leafs and Sens are heating up but it might be too little too late. And the Habs are faltering down the stretch, reminds me alot of the Sens of last season.
Anyways, the western canadian teams are all currently in playoff positions. I'm really going to be rooting for the Oilers come playoff time if they make it, I've also secretly always liked Nashville for some reason. As for the the eastern side, I'd love to see Ovechkin and his Caps go deep.

Montreal was my Cup pick, and if they don't make the playoffs for the "Centennial" it'll be a disaster for Gainey. Elsewhere in Canada, it seeps like Toronto does this every season. They suck for most of the year and then they play well enough to miss out on a top draft pick.
As for my bandwagon team, I'd like to see the Bruins go the Cup. They play exciting hockey and Tim Thomas deserves to showcase his skills in the Finals.
In the West, the Oilers SHOULD make it. Roloson has been big for them, and I don't see the Blues or Ducks being able to catch them. I won't jump on the bandwagon for any Western team, but I'm hoping Detroit, Calgary, and Vancouver all lose before the Cup.

I'll be rooting for Ovechkin and the Caps. That team is just too fun to watch to not root for them. I hope the Sharks lose in the 1st round. The Isles have their first round pick.
