A few years ago NASCAR added a new rule stating that if it were ever to rain at a road course, the drivers would be given tredded tires and windshield wipers to drive in. However since the rule was put into place, it hasn't rained at a road couse. Until now. Last Saturday, the NASCAR Nationwide Series raced at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, and it rained. For the first time NASCAR drivers were driving under wet conditions! Unfortunately the race was shortened due to more extensive rain eventually causing puddles in the track. Ron Fellows won the race. www.nascar.com/races/bg/2008/23/data/results_official.html
