Mark Martin has been outstanding. He's has consistently bounced around the top ten in points this year after announcing last season he would retire at of the 2005 season.
I don't think many people expected Mark at this point to be where be where he is. Most older drivers to name a few, Sterling Marlin, Rusty Wallace, Ricky Rudd, Terry Labonte and Dale Jarrett have struggled the past couple years. But not Mark. He has done very well. He's a respected driver on and off the track and it's great to see him perform well.
Kudos to Mark.

Now there are reports Roush Racing wants Mark to stay another year since he's doing so well.
Here's the deal: Jamie McMurry will leave Chip Ganassi Racing and join the Roush team in two years to take over for Martin. This means there is a vacancey in the Viagra Ford for the 2006 season. If Martin stays another year there will be no vaccancies.
