Sign him to a large extension!

It'll be interesting to see how much they sign him for. At the end of the regular season, Avalanche fans were set on a multi-year deal for about 3.5-4 million. But if the Avs go deep in the playoffs on the back of Theodore, that number is going to be higher.

Surprisingly, I'm really paying attention to the western conference playoff rounds. It's either watching the Devils and Rangers or the Wings and Preds. I want to see if the wings can hold down the surging preds at home. Go preds!

With Osgood in net, the Wings won 2-1 in OT. Osgood should be in for game 6. Franzen had a great game also.
Ducks won 5-2 to avoid elimniation.

The Preds can still win this series if they get that kind of goaltending again by Ellis. I mean wow! 50+ saves for a young tender in the playoffs is amazing.
And those d**n Ducks! Just admit defeat! ;P

Ellis was spectacular. The Preds should have won that game...I don't know how you can have that big of a defensive breakdown in OT.
Avs-Wild Game 6 tonight at 10. Should be a good one.
And hopefully Dallas can win Game 6 at home and put the Ducks to bed.

The Avs edge the wild 2-1 and advance to the western semis. The wings and stars have a chance to eliminate there opponents tonight.

I'm really psyched right now. The Avs played very well last night on both ends and if Theodore keeps playing well in goal, the Avs have a great shot in the next round whether it be against Dallas, Anaheim, or Detroit.
The Stars better win tonight. Same goes for the Preds. I think one of them will pull it out.

Detroit beats Nashville 3-0 to win the Series 4-2.
Osgood is their man.

Nicely done by the Wings. They got ther act together and didn't put themselves into a "best-of-1" situation.
Can't say the same for the Sharks. Game 7 in San Jose tomorrow night. Predictions?
And the Ducks are out. How dangerous is Dallas moving foward?

Almost nobody predicted Dallas to advance, espically with out Zubov.
I hope the Sharks win game 7, that way its the Wing vs the Avs in the second round instead of Calgary.

We need some more Canadian contenders in the playoffs! Go Flames! Boo Habs! HockeyEdge, I'm sure you saw that knuckleball goal by Nick Lidstrom from his own blue line, that puck took a huge bounce top shelf on Ellis and heartbreaking goal for sure. He had a similar goal against Dan Cloutier in the playoffs a while ago, but Cloutier just misread the puck on that goal.

Smart goal. But also lucky.
I wanted Minny to stay in. Now with every other team still in the playoffs in the West, the Wings are going to have to travel quite far.
Go Sharks!

San Jose-Calgary tonight. There's no possible way to say who will show up tonight, but I'm really hoping the Flames manage to pull out a victory. It's going to come down to whose goaltender can stand on his head and both are certainly capable.

If the Flames win, then there will be ALOT of questions surronding this Sharks team, including if Ron Wilson should go and if this organization should blow this whole team up. Because they haven't exactly made alot of noise in the playoffs over the past couple of years.
